Your emergency appointment request must contain:

Note: A Consular Officer will review the request to approve or deny it. If the request is approved the Consular Officer will reschedule the appointment for a date and time at the Consular Officer’s discretion. If you do not receive a response, consider your request denied and plan to attend your scheduled appointment.
You may only request ONE expedited appointment. You will not be allowed to expedite an appointment a second time.

Hope this email finds you well. I am <NAME OF MY WIFE>, currently in the US on an H4 visa and awaiting my EAD (receipt date: 18th Nov 2021). My current I-94 expires on 2nd Sept 2022 and therefore I am writing to request an emergency visa appointment due to the following reasons:
1. I have a master’s degree in life sciences (microbiology) and an extensive work experience in Healthcare IT in Cancer Precision Medicine (clinical trials research). This may prevent me from starting my job as soon as I get my EAD, or more likely, I will have to quit my job beyond 2nd Sept 2022 and will have to face indefinitely long and unpredictable delays by the USCIS for H4 and H4 EAD extension once again after already having waited for about a year to get my current EAD.
3. Such delay will result in serious financial losses for me and will also significantly diminish my long-term career prospects. Moreover, it will create hurdles & delays for me in acquiring financial independence for starting a new family – a major concern given our growing age.
4. I will also lose my driver’s license, which will not only severely restrict my independent mobility but also deprive me of the most widely accepted ID document.
5. Without the new visa, I will face travel restrictions for an unpredictably long time. This becomes important for me due to my elderly grandparents back home in India who happen to have severe ailments and I might need to travel at a moment’s notice to help with their medical emergencies and be with them in their difficult times.
6. We tried our best to get an appointment in India (paid the non-refundable visa fees too). But due to COVID, appointments are unavailable there for an indefinite time.
Thus, I earnestly urge you to give me an emergency visa appointment between 5th July to 10th August 2022 so that I would be able to file my EAD renewal application in time and be eligible for the EAD auto extension.

I am an Indian citizen and a current F-2 visa holder. I recently got an admit into the University of South Dakota (USD) for a Masters in Computer Science Program with a concentration in Artificial Intelligence specialization. My research under this course is focused mainly on the in depth adaptations of Artificial Intelligence within the healthcare industry such as utilization of smart devices for a better disease/symptoms identification. I am currently residing in Arizona with my husband, who is working remotely as a Product Manager in the United States under F-1 OPT status. The University classes begin on the August of 23rd and are in person owing to the high vaccination rate in the country. Currently there is at least 10 months processing time as per the USCIS website for the change of status request from F2 to F1. In addition, amidst the current pandemic circumstances in India, I cannot travel to my home country for my visa processing.

Due to COVID risk, quarantine rules, COVID test requirement, time to travel, availability of flights and availability of appointment dates. I can’t travel to my home country India. I have only a few days left for my classes to start for summer semester.I tried for regular and emergency appointments many times but I am unable to schedule regular appointments before May.

I am writing this to get an emergency appointment for my student (F1) visa as my summer semester starts in less than a month and I cannot travel back to XXXXX because of the recent spike in COVID-19 cases.
I am currently enrolled in a Master’s program at the University of XXXXX on dependent (H4) visa. I had to start my program on H4 visa because of COVID-19 outbreak, there was no window of opportunity for me to travel back to XXXXX and get F1 visa. Now, as my summer semester starts on XXXXX-XX-2021 and it has become very urgent for me to start this semester on F1 visa.
I have to complete two semesters on my F1 visa to be eligible for OPT and I only have two semesters left in my program. I invested a lot of time, money and effort to get into the university but if I am unable to get my F1 visa on time, I will not have OPT and there will be no opportunity for me to gain relevant job training, seriously impacting my future career prospects.
I was planning on going back to XXXXX for my F1 visa interview but given the recent surge in the COVID-19 cases in India, most of the cities are getting locked down with a curfew and everything looks very uncertain at this time.
